I recently picked up Little Computer People but sadly its faulty. I was wondering if there is a way to transfer the image from a .tap file on PC to the tape? I think this was mentioned somewhere before but I can't find the link anywhere. Thanks

Wav-Prg might do what you need.

Thanks Antiriad, it works wonderfully. Not only can I repair my faulty tapes but I can enjoy the games on the original platform.

The only hickup is that you need to find the .tap format for it to work. I have found a site that has a good amount but does anyone know where else I can have a look? Thanks

You may want to edit your post ! You cant post links to rom sites

Have you searched ? I just did a quick search on altavista.com and found a site with a lot of C64 tap files

lol I cant believe that in 2006 that any publisher really would give a toss about Commodore 64 games.
forbidding Rom links to 8 bits always makes me chuckle even though I understand its not down to RG its down to the digital rights/copyright nonsense.
I think myself that after 20 yrs everything should become public domain/free for use
music , films , books , everything.
I mean what real use is Windows 1.0 to Microsoft now hell they have just shat on Win 98 users.

There's a real difference between an operating system (Windows) and games, which could still be valuable intellectual property. Take Ultimate - they revived Sabre Wulf. Or Codemasters with their new Sensible Software game.

The companies own the copyright, they can choose what to do with it.

yep free star wars too
20 yrs of greed mongering should be enough.
once the times up anyone can release their own sensi-soccer or sabre wulf.
this may also see an end to crap being released in the name of profit, rolling the turd out on the good name of a predacesor.

Capitalism don't work like that, bub. You pays your money and you takes a chance.
