I feel that ROTR regardless of the format (snes, amiga whatever) should of been better with the technology available at that time, where as the other two games were on machines with limits and with the huge amount of titles on those computers back then you expected a few bad games. So ROTR has no excuses i vote for that.

Can I just register an issue with the way the first post is set up. By using loading screens for 2 of the games and in game for the other I think you have created a bias. I would have thought ingame would have been better for all three, but as I can't find a screenshot of Highlander, I will show everyone the glory of the WCC loading screen...

Now come on, tell me that doesn't get you going!

Rise Of The Robots wasn't the last dire game Time Warner released for the amiga either. The A1200 version of primal rage almost had me in tears! I loved the coin-op but this version almost had me throwing my joystick out the window. Why it never got a mention I don't know. I still say Golden Eye on the N64 has to be the worst though

Hear me out over golden eye, I have my reasons
.The NES was my 2nd console and although I owned segas too, this and my SNES were my all time fave consoles until near the end of the SNES. Nintendo went too kiddy (Super Mario World 2) and released the N64 which had some crap games that didn't just make me sad but enraged me. I love castlevania and have played every incarnation (own most of them) but the 2 for the N64 sucked big time. I didn't like the pad, the fogging was awful and the games were way over priced. When golden eye came out everybody raved about it, saying it was the best game ever blah blah blah. I thought it was average at best for an fps and yet another reason I disliked Rare. This game and pokemon caused me to hate Nintendo for a long time even after orcana of time. Only the later Gbc titles and the GBA/Gamecube saved me from forgetting nintendo and reminded of the reasons why I fell in love with them in the first place.
