Dream come true

Post by Mantas » Wed Jun 14, 2006 7:02 am

My dream has come true.

Please don't see this as showing off but I am dead excited about this and I thought I'd share it with my fellow gamers.

As of mid July 2006, I will be working for Sega Europe. Hooray!!!!!!!!
Extra bonus points given for getting a job providing support as well as playing with the latest and greatest hardware in the game testing department. I won't be testing the games but I'll be in the department that does it.

Really looking forward to this and I hope its all I expect it to be. Plus you never know, I might get to see the pre-releases on games on the PS3 and the Wii.

Congrats mate, few people are lucky enough to be in a job involving something they love.

Nice one. I remember feeling exactly the same when I joined Codemasters, and then Blizzard. Great feeling to be getting paid to do something you really enjoy doing :)

Excellent news. When you get your foot in the door start nagging them to get OutRun SP working on the 360! ;)

*laughs* What are we like? As soon as someone here gets a foot on the inside we're all firing out requests left, right and centre...

I remember people telling me to get Codemasters to release their grip on their entire back catalogue for emulation purposes.

I wasn't the bloody chief exec

Well done! Please do your best to help prevent SEGA from making any foul ups in future game releases!

Can you get Sega to pay me that £30 million they owe me for using my idea about a blue hedgehog? And clean my shoes while you're at it.

Well done. I have no requests other than do your best. If everyone else there follows that then we're laughing.

From my deepest depths, good luck.

And if it ever gets bad, just think of us (me?) and how we envy you ;)
