iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch game recommendations

Well bought Ravensword the other day, looks to be a great RPG. I've got a few others which are great but are 3rd person. With Ravensword you can switch it to 1st person which is pretty good so then its like a huge 'Quake' style RPG

The games by Cave are quite pricey but theyre excellent OTT japanese shoot em ups with tons of bullets/enemies. This one looks great as its a horizontal scroller not a vertical one.

This week (Think wednesday) Speedball is out so thats an instant purchase for me. Again give Karoshi a go, great little game

Yep, Assault Command is definitely a quality game and (another) one that's a steal at only 59p. One thing though, either its one tough cookie or I'm just hopeless at playing it. I suspect its the latter...

Don't know if it's been mentioned, but I've just downloaded a game called Gun Bros. A bit like Smash TV, the controls are a bit suspect, but it's quite fun from what I've played so far. Plus, it's everyones favorite price: FREE

For a quick blast Grim Joggers is good fun, The Incident has a very retro feel and Infinity Field is a good Geometry Wars style game.

I have Speedball here as a review copy. Unconvinced so far, sadly. (It's not bad, but there's something lacking overall.)

The Incident—great for a short while, but you'll hate it by the time you get to space.

To be fair, I've only played two games, so I need to go through a full season. Just don't go expecting the Best Game Ever, or you'll probably want to kick a squirrel. I should probably also play the Amiga original for a reality check, but the new game appears slower and it's definitely much easier.

Big time ! Love the device. Got nearly 300 now ! And i just bought a 64 gig (my sister had my old 32 gig) so now i dont have to keep uninstalling stuff ! I'm still stunned how great this little device is. A lot of titles coming out i want to get - Speedball (hope it is good though), Tapper, a new shoot em up (Name escapes me but its from Cave, one of those over the top tons of bullets type of shooters) and Battle Squadron. Plus 1943 is coming to the capcom arcade next month, Capcom Arcade isnt the best but its not too bad despite dodgy controls. Still think Pix n Love Rush is a great game to have a quick blast and has that superb retro feel
