Usual panic mongering & fuss about nothing when a big Operating System upgrade happens.

Just don't update until you have a few hours to spare, leave it updating in the background as you go do something else.

When you come back it's all updated & your patience will be rewarded with a slightly different OS with the odd feature that some day you may potentially find a use for.

Just bought Miner 2049er, now bad at all, prefer the retro graphics version than the updated one

^Yep bizarre post. Reckon hes a spammer, i googled one of the lines in his long post and it came up with a lot of hits on different websites with the same sentence. Some spam, some because hes copied and pasted the same crap.

Bizarre thread though. Plus he has a dodgy link by his username (not his signature), cant believe he'll be here for long. I clicked on the link in the end and its for some 'social blast' tool (Crappy facebook equivalent) which hes obviously spamming.

Edit - I clicked on it as i wanted to double check if he was a spammer as i was reporting his posts to a mod. Obviously didnt sign up for his crappy Facebook 'social' site but hopefully he'll be gone when the mods read the reported post (In Dec 2012 ;)

In other news, I found an utterly useless iphone app that no speccy owner should be without...

ZXSpecPhone

http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/zxspecph ... ?mt=8&ls=1

It turns your phone keypad into a speccy style keypad. That's it. Not particularly useful, but I like it.

Best app ever! Totally pointless but totally fabulous all the same! Virtual rubber keys FTW!

Cheers for the heads-up. :D :D :D

Downloading Street Fighter II collection, currently 69p intro offer.

The screenshots look pretty nice and it says it includes World Warrior, Champion Edition and Hyper Fighting.

Been a couple released the last few days already…

Galaxy pirate adventure
http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=110587
Meant to be more like final fantasy than Elite but shows promise

Pirates of the Carribean
http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=110664

Kyotokei
http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=110632
Apparently was a shoot em up on ‘Wii ware’ (presume homebrew on Wii), I bought it, very good side scrolling shoot em up

3d Pixel racing
http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=110633
Looks alright but tilt only, I’ve bought it, its okay-ish, need to give it more chances later

Descend
http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=110080
Dungeon Master/Bards Tale-ish type of game, not bad but at that price I’ll wait

Should be some good games released weds night including Mage Gauntlet which looks superb

Gyro13 - Steam Copter Arcade - downloaded this for free the other day and would highly recommend it for those who enjoy Thrust-inspired games.

Gravity Guy - a quality running game I've enjoyed for some time is currently available for free.

Bounty Bob would be excellent, one of my favourite ever games.

I thought the controls on Miner 2049er were a bit poor, which is a shame as the game itself is ace, if they do do Bounty Bob then I hope they look at changing them.

Didnt think they were that bad, completed a few levels. Would rather the 'joypad' be stuck instead of wherever your left finger is.

Anyway today bought...

Bike Baron - Decent Kickstart type game, only 99p, plays well, a lot of fun

Mage Gauntlet - Been waiting for this for ages, Zelda-ish type of RPG, SNES style graphics, very playable, really enjoying this.
