At Play Expo they had an Astro Wars set up to use, was great playing the original, made me appreciate this iOS version even more as the devs done a great job replicating it. Love these old old skool games !

just re-downloaded a few old retro games that had been dormant on my iTunes account whilst I had the android - forgot they were there - feels like getting free games!

Also a lot of great old tabletop games, check out Astro Wars or Galaxy Invaders

Looks like it has tons of levels and a fair bit of variety, bought it and played the first section. Really like it, classic retro sounding chiptune and the controls work well. Nice retro graphics. Get in !

A great LCD tabletop 'homage', its not an old game but its a 'new' game meant to look like an old one !

The guy who did it is the guy whos created versions of Astro Wars and Galaxy Invader, plays very well and is icade compatible

New Star Soccer - worth a third playthrough thanks to the new 1.5 update. Best game on iOS.

Triple Town - simple but addictive match three puzzler. Free but worth the £2.49 it costs to unlock everything.

Magnetic Billiards - still great.

Bad Hotel - a bit chaotic but a new twist on a sort of Tower Defense idea. Sort of.

I need to get into New Star Soccer, had a quick go but it didnt grab me but everyone raves about it and it 'seems' to be the iOS equivalent of Footballer of the Year kinda thing

I'm currently loving...

First Touch Soccer 2014 - its free but so far i've been getting a fair few tokens/money anyway, plus i bought one IAP as a way of thanking the dev. Best footy game in my view (Better than FIFA), bit like an up to date Player Manager. Won the premiership on my 3rd try but was tough as anything, its a great game

Pinball Arcade - I've got all the tables, love getting 2 new tables a month. Think its about 38 in total now ! Was great to play a fair few of the actual pinball tables at Play Expo.

Indigo Lake - Play with your headphones on, you'll jump !
Honeycomb - Great puzzle platformer
Callys Caves - Another platformer this time with weapons
Legend-Dary - Another platformer, retro graphics and tune. Bargain at the price.

Still enjoying the old tabletop games as well

Just bought Awesome Spelunker, basically the old NES/C64 game, very tricky but i love the old retro games

New Star Soccer update has added more depth to the game. Before this update it was too simple to win almost everything every season. The new additions have made that much more difficult and realistic I guess. Great new in game 'heading' feature

Great little file. You can add Doom wads to this app. I've added doom 1 and doom 2. Work a treat
