Actually downloaded this game as there is a lite version of it. Not keen on it at all

The comments on itunes are very funny, everyones posted something negative about it. Shame as i did love the original in the 80's but this just seems a quick knocked out game to try and make a bit of money (for no doubt more legal fees !)

To be fair if you didn't have to own/install the game the appstore reviews would be even more of a joke if anyone could write a review without trying it first

A fair few reviews on the appstore are very bad though. Some you can spot immediately that they must be friends of the programmers with their cheesy review and 5/5 rating when the games dire. Others you get people giving a game 1/5 and posting some total rubbish as they dont seem to understand how the game works. A lot of reviews are very 'youtube-ish' which is a shame.

Surprised they gave out a lite version of this Bobby Bearing game as it gives many people a chance to slate it. I gave it a go but didnt like it, controls were very bad and seemed a cheap knock off

Ah, that's an idea; anybody who reviews it, say that it's a cheap knock-off of Mobigame's Edge, Tim will love that. =-)

So much terrible/inaccurate reporting in general on this, though. Not everything's been cancelled, Langdell's still fighting and, most importantly, he's still filing for new Edge-related marks. Also, this is US-based, and so there's still a ton of stuff that needs dealing with elsewhere, such as in the UK. This episode isn't over by any means.
