Minecraft?

Anyone had a go of this???

Basically, think multiplayer Lego. It's very simple but spent a couple of hours playing it. You'll either like it or hate it.

Is it a game with clear aims, objectives and competitive play, or is it just a toy to tinker with?

At the moment it's just something to tinker about with.
It has basic physics at the moment. There's lava/magma underground if you dig deep enough. The water flows through crevices, etc. vegetation dies in shade.
Every game I've played has had a load of people working on the same object. You tend to see someone going for something huge and everyone else joins in!
