Totally agree that the PS1 version was aces - mostly, for me, down to the soundtrack, which really added layer upon layer of atmosphere to it - the stupid midi rock on the PC version makes it a far worse experience. The PS1 version is genuinely creepy.
Yeah that's why I don'y like the XBLA version as much as the PS1 version.... The crying baby bit on the PS1 soundtrack totally freaked me out back in the day :shock:
