Tombi might be good, but its worth quite a bit.
Yes, Tombi and Klonoa are both worth about £30 the last I checked, but they're worth it in my opnion. :P

I like Pandemonium too, I have it on the Saturn. Any idea where I can get an MP3 of the music for the first level? :) (it's not one of those Saturn discs where you can copy the music tracks straight off it)

Apologies to anyone who's already mentioned any of the games I'm about to list but here goes anyway...

Medievil 1+2
Spyro The Dragon 1+2+3
Destruction Derby Raw
Tombi 1+2
Kula World
Tekken 2+3
Soulblade
Crash Bandicoot 1+2+3
Crash Team Racing (CTR)
Crash Bash
Croc: Legend of the Gobbos
Croc 2
Resident Evil 1+2+3
Silent Hill
Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare
Space Invaders (seek out the thread I made ages ago on the PS1 version for some links to some youtube vids of the awesome boss battles)
Driver 1+2
Final Fantasy 7+8+9

Most of this is just mainstream stuff that shouldn't cost too much (except Tombi, Tombi 2 and Kula World which can go a bit mental on ebay) but the expensive stuff is worth it. Tombi (as RetroKingSimon quite rightly pointed out) is a brilliant 2D platformer. I remember the demo being very long, so long in fact that I only ever got to the end once. Would love to play the whole game someday.

In any case, an insane amount of fun-filled hours can be had from the above list. :)
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

No idea mate but if I come across it I'll let you know. It's the same with the PS1 version where the music isn't on disk. It does have good tunes though, quite catchy. The game is better on Saturn I think but that's largely down to the controller. It's kinda like Klonoa, another decent game. :)

Okay, thanks mate. :) Yes, I love Klonoa, it's arguably my favourite PS1 game, it has amazing music. I did find the MP3's for that game, they're on my Winamp and my mobile phone too! I must get around to getting Klonoa 2 for the PS2. Ever played that one?

I'd like to get the jup noise, the purple dragon things going "dur!" and the death music.

But the first level music is addictive.

Some games allow you to copy music onto PC - will check tonight. I have the PS1 and Saturn version for some reason, so will check both.

Thanks for the tip but I tried there already, they don't have Pandemonium that I could see. I've just registered with the excellent Radio Sega site in the hope that it's there, but I haven't looked yet.
