Once the level 1 downloadable demo has been completed the pre-order page will go online. It shouldn't be too long now. :)

the demo plays like a dream..brilliant work guys..it's really is...I have only one issue with it..the price...I understand these things cost money to produce, royalities etc...but £17 for a retro remake..hmmm..is a tad expensive for me,printing covers and boxes does not add to a large part of the end product..as these can be brought at the usual DVDr shop sites..so I don't think that a high factor here for the asking price, I think maybe £10.99 or £12.99 is more reasonable...but if there's enough feedback in which I'm sure there will..I could consider getting it then...

any hints to what the bonus Content is..to make me regret not getting this :)

Nice demo. I might order a copy of this.

I would love to be part of a homebrew/remake scene - I imagine its similar to the glory days of bedroom coding.

Sort of, although the tool chain's greatly improved and with that the barriers preventing otherwise good designers from producing a game have been greatly reduced; if a bedroom developer wanted to produce a game during the 1980's or 1990's they either needed to code or hope that one of the fairly limited game makers would handle the specific design they had in mind, these days there are tools to help, people to talk to about how to use them and so on.

Unfortunately, that's the absolute cheapest I can offer the game for as royalties will be going to both the original programming team AND the remake team. Also, this will be a professionally pressed CD-ROM so I need to sell the game on a pre-order basis in order to get it properly pressed and printed etc.

If you think about it though, you are getting a much better game for only a few quid more than the original 8-bit version.

As for the extras - it's a secret at the mo ... but there will be a lot of 'em! :)

Would pre-order it but really have no spare cash at the mo................... :(

Yeah I could never get my head around coding.

The reason I cant do homebrew now is because I work in the industry, contracts and all that.
