Sega Saturn - The Best Games
Been Ebaying again and won myself a Saturn to replace the one I bought back in the early 90's
I have bought myself Nights into dreams , Clockwork Knight 1 , Sega Rally , Manxx TT Superbike and Discworld.
I am planning on getting my old friend Parodius too.
what other games are great on the Saturn ?

The Saturn had a pretty good virtua on port and Fighting Vipers is far better than the mags at the time would have you believe. Baku Baku animal remains a firm fave of mine, as does Decathalete. Exhumed was the game Tomb Raider should have been and Tunnel B1 is well worth a look should you not have had it first time around. Duke Nuke em was inspired on the Saturn (death tank hidden away) and if youre after a great RPG they dont come much better than the Saturns Shining Force....All pal btw.
Just where is Mickey T?
If you have friends then I would strongly suggest buying Duke Nukem 3d and Exhumed/Quake purely for Deathtank Zwei which is proberbly the best multiplayer game on the system tied with Saturn Bomberman. Think of Deathtank Zwei as Worms but everybody is on the same screen and the action is in real time so everybody moves at the same time with no turns! The game can be played up to seven player and the more people you have the more fun the games become.
Another thing you will be wanting is one of these! It's a cart that plugs in to your system allowing you to play ANY import game on your system including the games that require 1meg and 4meg ram exspansions. This is absuloutely essental if you wish to get the most out of your system for it will open a whole new world of realitively undiscovered gems that never made it here to the UK.
Oh and if you can try and get Dragon Force. It's a brillant stratgey/war/RPG that is unqiue. Once this game get's it's hooks in to you there is no escape!

If you get your Saturn chipped or buy the Action Replay 4M (for playing imports) I would recommend Thunder Force V and Gokujyo Parodius Da! as they weren't released over here. For UK games you should look at Guardian Heroes, Panzer Dragoon 1 & 2 and maybe one of the Street fighter Alpha games (much better than the PS1 versions).
Giving it 100%, 60% of the time.
