The remake is Ranarema, Toxiedogg, as I mentioned above in the link. I have got up to the last level! Good so far. I don't know if the power drain setting is on a bug, as it never seems to get above minimum.

Yeah, reminds me of going into smelly little computer game shops and seeing loads of tapes for 99p. :) Think it was more of a Spectrum classic, I never played it on my CPC.

Good thread ! Ranarama was a pretty decent game back in the day, loved all the Gauntlet style games, this one was very good, usual decent game from Hewson

Good to see Ranarama getting more notice! Check out the remake if you can. Has the remake been reviewed in RG?
