I'm not especially good at any of them. But I do like JLC. I prefer his solo work though.

I used to be unfathomably good at Kung Fu Master (for two weeks whilst on holiday in Majorca) - or I thought I was until I played on the same machine at Heathrow airport on the return journey, where I was rubbish. I didn't know about DIP switches at the time...

I wouldn't be so bold to claim I was ever an "expert" back in the '80s at any particular game but I sure did kick the beejesus out of anyone who ever dared challenge me at Match Day II on the Speccy!

Agreed, can normally be very entertaining, just atched his ventriloquist prog the other night. Impressive when doing these programs, Ventriloquism; clowning; magician, he actually really tried his hardest to make it work and never seems to fall back into the fact it's 'just' a tv program and will air no matter how he does.

Especially if someone from the show is using our forum for some free advertising/'recruitment'...

i'm confusued by your reply craig: you don't want retro gaming to reach a bigger audience?-surely more exposure = more potential retro gamers = better future for RG magazine? (Beside which, the poor TV researcher is only doing their job)

Well, around these parts, watching me play is called "Pay-Per-View"

Which means you put your money where your mouth is, and get to see how good I am. You have to pay to see my skills.

Not that you'd actually see much of my on-screen character in this instance lol

Actually just realised that none of the games I commented on are from the 80's. Duh!!

I have the fastest completion of Castlevania ever documented, if that counts.

Is this going to be a `get Denton Designs back together` style program or get matthew Smith a clean brain so he can write jet set willy 3...or `get the ultimate team back together for Mire Mare`

He must be Dave Lee Travis` son

I am crap at games by the way, but I have completed Starquake and Atic Atac...and thats all that matters

Bit harsh. Surely this is the perfect place for them to come when they want experts on retro.

JLC is ace too.

I wish I was, I guess I'm pretty good at Renegade on C64 and Speccy in particular.
