Oh blimey. Tough. I guess the one I played the most was Alien 8, but my heart belongs to Jetpac.

Those flashing letters, 'Jetpac is Loading' pretty much evoke the whole Spectrum era for me.

Poll required!

Not necessarily saying its their best game but Jetpac was the one I enjoyed most iirc. :)

Atic Atac - One of the first games I played to completion....(even though it is quite easy) also loved Lunar Jetman but that was HARD

Jetpac was good but it didn't have the same impact as Knightlore.
Could you believe the Spectrum could produce something so amazing!

I was going to say "you can remember where you were when you 1st saw Knightlore" but I can also do that for Jetpac & Underwurlde.

I'm gonna be weird and say Cookie. I love that game, it's one of the ones that I go back to most for quick goes and trying to beat my high score. :)

I loved Knight Lore at the time and it was a fantastic pioneer for 3D, but it's less of a contender now there's other better isometric games to play (SpinDizzy, Batman, and Head Over Heels suddenly spring to mind....)
Sig pic temporarily removed...The Magnificent 7 will ride again 8)

Jetpac , Knight Lore , Cookie , Trans am , Pssst and Lunar Jetman all get 10/10 for me .

I have huge affection for each and every one of them , Lunar Jetman has been my favourite ultimate game for years , its damn hard , but so addictive , Knight Lore and Jetpac were both jaw dropping moments in speccy history , Cookie / Pssst were 2 of the 1st games i ever bought and played them to death , my mate bought Trans am at the same time i bought pssst and i remember going round spending all day finding my way round the map , what a good time we had !

Great thread , brought back a lot of happy memories. :D
