Now I know Snes stuff on E-bay is going for mad prices at the moment, but surely this is a bit OTT

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BATTLETOADS-SNES- ... 3a67d5c97c

He also has a PC Engine Shuttle for £650, and Snes Pilotwings for £195, amd Banjo Tooie for £450, all sealed.

Is Mega Man X3 really worth this much...? :?
(Impressed with his SNES collection pics below the item listing though, very nice indeed!)

When you think you've got problems you don't really need,
They're maybe not as bad as they seem,
Cos in a world full of misery, with hatred and greed,
Your problems are another man's dream.

Nowhere near. Gamestation in Nottingham had that in a few years ago - boxed - for about £40.

Doubtless it's rare, but you can count on the fingers of one hand the number of PAL SNES games that are rare enough to command those kind of prices, and I've never heard MMX3 mentioned as being among them.

I use that guy for my box protectors. Ok bloke but i'd say that price is waaaaaay OTT. In the current climate though, and what his other rarish games have gone for i'd say he could get £200+ for it.

You should have picked it up for that price! I've seen X3 go for around £350 complete these days (that's how much my PAL copy cost me). It barely seems to pop up on eBay that much (especially complete, with the PAL box and manual). At least that's in my experience, I had a hell of a time getting my copy.
The above auction is still overpricing it a hell of a lot though

I've been round this guys house and his collection is a sight to behold, even has a sealed copy of rendering ranger. I thought my SNES collection was impressive untill I saw his. He is now on his 3rd complete pal SNES collection having sold the other 2. He his in his late 20s and has given up work as selling mint SNES games earns him a huge income each month. This price does seem a bit high, but his games do sell, I have bought some games from him over the past couple of months. I must add not at this price though.

Well that's wrong to my knowledge, no SFC game was ever sold sealed. It'll be a shop wrapping it in plastic film and sealing it up if anything.

If you look at the purchase history they were sold for £5 to £6 each

Think the listing is supposed to be £9.99 not £99
