I've got it on the DC and I'm not the biggest fan of it to be honest, it's butt ugly and not hugely original, in fact I prefer Stag on the PS2 to this game!

The bosses are interesting however and transforming ship is a novel idea, I know quite a few people that swear by the game.

Which version are you considering? If you can get for £30 on the DC that's a very good price.
Did you enjoy stag? I found it a bit....placid if I'm being honest. And quite easy, but deffo worth the fiver for the pal ver.

I was looking at the PS2 version of Trizeal, £30 seemed to be the cheapest. Typical the DC ver goes for more!

Yep Stag is good fun in my opinion, it looks great in tate mode and I really like the scoring system.

£30 for the PS2 version is a good deal, you'll have to tell me what you think of it if you invest

Those R-Type achievements look like fun, not looking forward to going through the last couple of stages to R-Type though, took me forever to clear those! When is the game due out again? I'd imagine it can't be much longer now.

It's still a TBA 2009

Those achievements do look fun, thank god there's not a 1cc achievement. I've done it in three continues but one would be really hard (the last boss is easy though), I cranked up R-Types on the PS1 the other day to get some practice in

I think I could get the first 2 achievements and then the rest would be stretching it! Sounds as hard as the game itself. The "True Final Boss" thing sounds intertesting though. A hidden level? Wonder how you would unlock that?

Oh yes one really tough game and the non-secret achievements reflect that, the true boss involes playing through to the last boss on the second loop, the second loop is unlocked by completing loop 1 with any of the following: Less than 2 deaths, Less than 3 bombs used, or Collecting all 10 bees in at least 3 stages. The bees in each level must be collected without dying.

So yes a very tough game made even more difficult in the second loop!!

In short Insane

Yes, those achievements actually look like an achievement rather than a pat on the back for spending money on microsoft products.

Yep the Otomedius achievements are particularly pathetic and reward vast amounts of gamer points just for completing the game with different characters!!

Yipee! I've been hoping this (and the other 360 shumps) make it across the pond eventually. I've got my fingers crossed for a UK release (or at least a region free American release).

Unfortunately mate due I suspect this won't be region free, but as this is getting an English translation by Zoo then it will probably come out here. Raiden Fighters is a good choice as there are three shooters included (good VFM) and it's nearly all in English so there'd be minimal effort polishing it up (+ the series has never had a western release). Raiden 4 is probably another good candidate, i'm confident we might see a glut of shooter 360 releases it's just a shame we'll never see any of those JAP 360 Cave releases as a PAL product :(
