Help with faulty X Arcade joystick

My X Arcade stick has died :( :( :(

I know it's not the PS2 keyboard or the PC as I have tried a different KB and PC. I suspect it to be the system board but I don't know for sure. I've opened it up and everything looks normal although I did spot some white dust on the board where the chips slot in.

Has anyone else experienced this before and is there something I can do to try to fix it. I'm reluctant to spend another £100+ on another joystick.

Thank you

Email X-Arcade. I had to a while back because my USB thingy port had packed in. They were amazingly helpful and replaced it FoC.

Failing that, pick up an ipac board and you can rewire it yourself. The ipac is very simple to use even for a novice and at around £20 or so including postage its a bargain. If you can wire a plug, you can connect a joystick and buttons to an ipac.
