I would say the Super Nintendo.

It had the best Graphics, Sounds and Frame Rate of them all.
(Great too that Nintendo revoked their censorship on gore and violence).

And of course these days it can be installed with WHDLoad so no diskswappin g at all!
That means the evaluation in the original post was inaccurate and unfair. It even has a screeshot of the "Disk IV" screen - and if the original didn't even have four disks.

Also, was the game hd-installable originally? HOL says "unknown".

EDIT: no, it doesn't. I guess HOL could update their info then, my original box says NOT HARDDISK INSTALLABLE, and the manual tells you the same.

Only if you had a pirated version of the game!

I believe the original came on 3 disks and the pirated one had 4!

The 32X was the best with the SNES coming in it at a very close second.

The reason: I think the 32X had tighter gameplay than the SNES port

If you don't mind playing the game with no sound.. the Saturn version is almost arcade perfect. Just put on some good tunes in its place

At the time I had a SNES and Megadrive, and I bought the Megadrive version purely because most of my friends at school had Megadrives so I thought there would be more "taking it round their house for 2 player" action.

32X. No doubt about it. Much smoother version than the others. Always found the Amiga version to be good but using a joystick with 1 button meant it was difficult to do get the full MK2 experience.
