Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
Wasn't sure what to expect, but really glad I took the chance. Looks like a co-op game but you control one brother per stick, which can get a tad disorientating a times but since you rarely need split second timing it's not really an issue. The game looks absolutely beautiful, especially the ice level, and the gentle, haunting soundtrack suits it perfectly. There's no back story, text or dialogue (the characters just speak gibberish, although I think it would have been better if they just vocalised) but still manages to tell a touching story. It's very easy and will only take 3 hours or so, but that means it doesn't outstay its welcome and is more of an interactive cartoon than a game. The ending is genuinely sad as well. Still on sale until the 31st so well worth picking up

Completed the campaign in Cod: ghosts. These games are sort of my guilty pleasure as I really enjoy the campaigns in all of them. This one has one of the best stories in any of the cod franchise. Had me hooked from start to finish, it was a bit to short, as they all are but still thoroughly enjoyable.

Blackwell Legacy - Another Point and Click game from Wadjet Eye, can clearly tell this is one of there earlier efforts where the puzzles were not that well crafted, bit short but was enjoyable, here's hoping the rest of the series picks up!

Contrast. PS4. Genuinely sorry to see the end credits roll. Loved it. I could have done another hundred of those shadow puzzles and not got bored.

Just finished Killer is Dead including a fair crack at the side missions and Gigolo missions in a woeful 6 hours 50 minutes. Not sure what Suda51 was getting at with the art direction but the saturation and abundance of black just looks bad to me and some sections with neon coloured lighting bordered on migraine inducing. The story and game mechanics just had too much lifted from No More Heroes for me to feel like I was getting a decent experience for the money I paid as well.
On a lighter note, I finished my first playthrough of Dragon's Dogma yesterday and enjoyed it immensely.

Point and Click Adventure games seem to be what I am into at the moment, now just completed Blackwell Unbound. Built nicely upon the story from Blackwell Legacy but seemed to be a shorter story and the puzzles were not as challenging, graphics were an definite improvement.

Heavenly Sword very easy and fun game, again the last boss (Andy Serkis character)came close to making me hate the game.. Three stages unblock able attacks and he gets his energy back when you fail the quick time event
