Mirrors Edge,

excellent game, some flaws but can see why it is considered a minor classic.

Incredible Crisis (PS1). Not overly impressed after all the times I've heard people rave about this game. It was definitely unique and charming in a weird way but the minigames themselves were often too tedious or had poorly explained controls. Also, how many times did they have to use that game with bailing water out of a sinking boat?!?

The most memorable part was probably playing the massage minigame and having to grab the remote and knock the volume right down when it sounded like I was watching something filthy from the next room

Singularity (360) - looks like Generic Military Shooter #61681 for the first 5 minutes but becomes a decent mix of Bioshock, Portal and Fallout 3. Time manipulation provides some interesting weapons and environmental puzzles, although annoyingly there is no subtitle option for the dodgy Russian accents. It's one of those games where your enemies barely upgrade throughout, so the opening levels are hardest and you become almost unstoppable by the end. I only paid £4 from CEX so would recommend it for that price

Finished the story on Arkham Origins, now working through the side quests. One thing that's stood out to me is the apparent lack of Easter eggs in comparison to City.

Batman Origins. The interrogations are a bit cheesy though aren't they? Bats should slap the tar out of the goons but all it's been is:

Thug - "I ain't telling you anything"
Batman - "TELL ME"
Thug - "Okay okay, just quit shouting at me ffs"

Good game mind, but I saw scores of 7/10 and that's about right in my opinion.

Completed Arkham City a few days ago. I thought it was fantastic overall, at first I didn't quite like that it seemed to be so open compared to Asylum but after getting used to everything I thought it was great. I liked how a lot of the villains popped up in various different ways thought it was a nice way to do things and I wouldn't say they felt shoehorned in. Looking forward to trying the DLC now and I'm unsure if I'll bother with NG+ seems like it would be enjoyable but at the same time very frustrating. Think I might try playing as Nightwing next time.

Played & completed Enslaved. Good game, despite a dodgy camera & occasionally choppy frame rate.

Binary Domain (Xbox 360)

a good cover based shooter, mixed up with a couple of arcade sections (speedboat racing, gliding down a slope where you have to avoid obstacles) and some intense boss battles and a good, if bit unoriginal, story, i liked it

I finally got 100% for the trophies on Superfrog HD this evening. It's a decent enough game, and I kind of wish I had managed to get the original game back in my Amiga days. Still, I am glad to have finally played it.

Dead Island_PC- I loved the first half, but by the time we'd got through the city I was bored and just wanted it to end. Co-op saved it or I'd have given up long before finishing.
