I have played about an hour of it and just keep stopping. Does it get better fast? I just found it, I don't know, dull.

TBH,yes, it was very slow to start with. Didnt really understand the point or use of the Celestial Brush techniques, but.....I gave it another chance, and ended up racking up about 50 hours gametime with all the hidden bonuses, side quests etc.

I'm the same.

I've started it a couple of times on the Wii and really want to like it but for some reason I just get a bit meh and play something else.

Heavy Rain (PS3). An enjoyable experience; had to keep on playing until I saw the end (well, as it turns out, one of the endings). Might have another go one day to see the other plot branches.

Sonic 2 Game Gear version via 3ds Virtual Console

:o this game is pure evil compared to the Master System version! I have to say that this is quite simply a lazy Master System port full of cheap deaths caused by the zoomed in aspect. I love the Master System version but this... I can quite happily say I'm glad not to have played this back in the day.

FINALLY completed Need For Speed Hot Pursuit - 360

Loved most of it. Got 100% in everything that I could - I don't have Gold membership, so that meant I could not get specific achievements via online mode.

While I liked the brand names involved (Lamborghini, Porsche, Chevrolet etc, etc...) I did find it a bit of a let down that all the cop cars where exactly the same apart from some cosmetic differences.

That (for me) was the only issue I had with the game as a whole. Otherwise, cracking stuff. The races were alot of fun (the title Hot Pursuits were fantastic). I found a couple of Interceptor chases to be a bit of a chore, but was happy when I finally cracked them.

Looking forward to getting hold of NFS : Most Wanted within the next few days. Have heard very good things about it.

Played through this many times and it's one of my favourite games of the 90s. Absolutely love the music and a few tracks in particular i still listen to on the ipod when out on the bike. The 1 player mode is very enjoyable and there are some lovely locations throughout. Multiplayer is a blast but it's the 10 player mode that really stands out especially if you can get 2 multi taps and enough mates around for a game. Overall it is i.m.o by far the best Bomberman game and i cannot understand why it hasn't come out on XBLA or had a HD remake.
The square is a great shape, and one that is criminally underused in modern game design. In the push to ever more granular, chaotic environments, games have lost sight of the simple pleasures of right angles and straight lines.
