Fancied this myself after watching the Gamecentre CX episode about
Actraiser but boxed SNES copies go for a bit. I'm a bit of a snob who has to have complete copies too unfortunately
As for myself, I completed
Paper Mario Sticker Star on the 3DS. Done the main quest, found all 5 Luigi locations and completed the sticker museum but drew the line there as some of the other side bits (such as getting 600 'Excellent' attacks etc.) were just ridiculous. Other than that, it's a brilliant game but probably the weakest in the series so far.
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

Finished
Anarchy Reigns this afternoon playing through the Black/Jack side. Bit strange that to open the end mission you have to play through the White/Leo story only to find that when you finish the game, if you want the last character available for multiplayer, you have to then start a new game from the side that you did not begin with
Sooo play through the whole game again, same missions all over again just in a different order????
Bit lame but gave me an excuse to try out Hard mode, which is pretty bloody tough in comparison to Normal. Dont know if i'll do it all over again just for one character i may not even like.
A good fun game for a blast and low price.... if only i could get into a multiplayer lobby

Completed Ultimate Marvel Alliance on the 360.
Alright game but think I prefer the X-Men Legends games, just find them to be a bit more fun. Though I did like the ending telling you the timeline for success and failure.

Knights Contract by sheer luck as the last boss glitched and 'Maars Lance' took her energy down to nothing, am really hating the quick time events on that game.. Same really as the story was good

Homefront. So, let's rim through the modern FPS checklist
2 weapon limit - check
regenerating health - check
loads of different weapons that all do the same thing - check
plenty of "where the hell did that come from?" deaths - check
silent protagonist - check
linear progression - check
turret sequences - check
heavily focused on multiplayer - check
censored ending - check
Yep, the gameplay is as generic as you could possibly imagine. The (North Korea invades America) is so ridiculous even the most paranoid NRA nut would consider it a bit far fetched. If it had been set in the 19070s or in somewhere such as Japan is could have worked but as it is they may as well have made the baddies Swedish or Maltese. There are a few interesting moments, but overall the story goes nowhere. It also lasts all of 4 hours, but since I only paid £3 I'm not going to complain too much about that.

Wii Dead Space Extraction
Cool how they kept the locations the same as DS1.

Finished Far Cry 3 again, this time going for the other ending. I could play that game forever, my favorite game of this generation so far. Also finished some Virtual Console games I've been meaning to get round to, mainly Super Mario World (!).

How long did it take you? I've still got the last chapter of Thouzer and all of Raoh's Dream mode to do and I've been playing for 60 hours already! It doesn't help that I usually play levels twice to do all the missions and try to level up the characters pretty far (If I'd not done that I'd probably have finished the game ages ago!)

Ninety Nine Nights 2. I gave up on this when my old xbox started misreading disks, a death usually means restarting most of the level. Maggni's last mission was a beast! Pretty good game really, might be a bit mindless but it was fun and I liked the art style. A pity there is no one on line in co-op mode.
