One of my favourites is Vendetta on the arcade it was a follow up to crime fighters, very Streets of rage before S.O.R.

Snes : Battletoads

One super hard game but very entertaining. I have fond memories playing
it with my brother and friends, team work all the way!

Is Battletoads vs. Double Dragon any good?
I like both Battletoads & DD, but I'm not sure about the result...

I am comparing two of the most famous in the next WGTV show. Not hard to guess which two, but I won't say any more and spoil the feature.

Haha not sure, never even heard of that one.
In theory it should be awesome, both games are beat 'em up pioneers AND it's a game developed by Rare.
And Rare use to be really good at developing games

If you like Battletoads you will like it as its more like BATTLETOADS and less like Double Dragon

Megadrive - Streets Of Rage, Altered Beast
Spectrum - Renagade, Final Fight
Game Boy - Double Dragon

Double Dragon was pretty good on the Master System, but I do have a nostalgic fondness for it on the Game Boy

I used to love it on the Gameboy! I don't think I could ever finish it though. I've just recently started playing the NES version - it's also a lot of fun

The nes version is good

Apart from The levelin up just to get moves, lack of meatbags on screen, no decent co-op

I was playing a bit of Dinosaurs and Cadillacs (CPS1) on my PSP last night. It is a great beat 'em up it has to be said, same with The Punisher.

If we're talking Speccy beat 'en ups then I gotta mention Renegade. I still play it even now, 20 years later and still enjoy it.

Was it Ninja Gaiden or Shadow Warriors that was on the Atari Lynx? For a portable game that was quality, big chunky visuals, good use of the buttons, sacrificed many a Durabell bunny playing on that game!

I finished Castle Crashers, I really loved it.
Now, I'm waiting for my copy of Guardian Heroes to turn up, but French postmen were on strike today, hopefully, I'll get it tomorrow...
I won the auction for the game at Â£20, judging by the other auctions on this game, I'd say it was a bargain!

DAMN FINE GAME

I got mine for a tenner years ago
If you have a multi tap the battle mode is good fun (once you have unlocked every one)
Also it pays to know the moves of the charicters
