Not sure the 'bit' thing is fair though - The PC Engine is always gonna p*ss on the C64 and ZX.

Anyway, my fav conversions on the C64 are:

Bubble Bobble
Rainbow Islands
Buggy Boy
Midnight Resistance
The Simpsons

How the hell is the PC Engine 8-bit? The graphics look so much better than the NES and SMS. I always consider it a 16-bit system even though its technically a 8-bit one.

Anyway, i'll go by generation instead of bits.

2nd
Frogger Colecovision
Q*bert Colecovision
Berzerk 2600

3rd
Donkey Kong NES
Bubble Bobble Master System
Shinobi Master System

4th
Street Fighter 2 series SNES
R-Type PC Engine
Mortal Kombat Mega Drive

5th
Street Fighter Alpha 2 Saturn
Virtua Fighter 2 Saturn
Tekken PS1

I don't believe I've ever bought an arcade conversion for a 16 or 32 bit machine, so I'll just do assorted 8-bit systems:

Gameboy: R-Type
Spectrum: Moon Cresta
Amstrad CPC: Gryzor
Commodore 64: Bubble Bobble

Well, the main reason is the 8-bit CPU at the heart of it; the MSX range from the MSX2 onwards (and certainly the Turbo R) and Amstrad CPC Plus series are both 8-bits as well despite being able to lightly toast the NES, SMS and the "big three" home computers on the graphics front.

I understand that but i just think its a bit unfair to bundle it in with the NES,SMS and others. The Atari 2600 is 8-bit isn't it? So you wouldn't put that in the catogory as the NES would you?
