What is the earliest cartridge based system you have?
What is the best pre-VCS 2600 game you played?

I re-acquired a Teling Colourstar a few years ago after originally having one in the seventies, and losing it probably sometime in the eighties!

It might be interesting to see an article covering this in the mag…

Nice, i have a massive box of 8 tracks in the loft from a purchase at a booty, asked him how much for his box of Speccy games and he thought i meant them as well, £5 for the lot, about 40 of the bloody things.

<---- LAMER! My oldest cartridge based system is my Sega Master System

I supposed my oldest system that plays carts (but not cart based as such) is my good old breadbin C64 though...

My oldest has to be the old Atari 6 switch VCS. First machine I ever had and still works to this day.

Thanks for those images - They finally jogged my memory so I know what the old system we had was, I've been trying to remember the name for the last couple of years. The Tank/Plane battle cart is the same one I had and from there I was able to identify the system as an Acetronic MPU-2000:

It should still be up in my mum's loft, though I've not seen it in years... hope she's not binned it.
