£1 :o

Anyone else still here that got one on of the free give-away Isue Ones from the old RG forum?

I wonder if the 'extras' DVD that was given out with the issue is worth much on e-bay, not that I'd ever sell it

Whilst I was still hunting for issues to complete my set (thankfully all done and dusted now) entire collections, in binders, were regularly selling for (IMO) very low prices - £50 wasn't unusual. I paid over twenty for issue one alone... £600 is ridiculous.

I wouldn't sell my RG collection for £600....it took me that long to complete it, and I get that much use and enjoyment out of it.

Value is relative I suppose and I also wouldn't pay £600 for a full set, but it would take a very meaty wedge to make me consider parting with mine now I've got it.

I'm intrigued. How does the give-away RG#1 differ from the published version?

Likewise wondering on the difference...

I recently found a few of the Live RG badges that were available at CGE UK 2004. Any idea if they are worth more than a few pence? :P

My No1 is Mint condition and in a plastic folder....
OMG I so totally dont look after mine. I bought the first 12 issues and found them when I moved house with the coverdisks. I read my issue one again whilst in the bath the other day

It looks battered anyway. I remember rumaging in Virgin trying to find one that didnt look beat up. Till I realised that was how it was supposed to look.

I agree and I doubt he will get a sale.
However if someone pays it then good luck to him - Everything is only worth as much as someone is prepared to pay for it.
Someone made a best offer of £500!

I wouldn't pay that much. 100 - 200 quite possibly.

But 600? NO WAY!

Still, I'm sure SOMEONE will pay that much for them.

They don't, except the disk box included an extra signed burnt DVD with additional material from the old Live version of RG.

They gave so many issue One Magazines and Disks away to forum members on the old live forum. This is how I got my issue one, I've collected all the rest since issue 2.

And I'm really planning on subscribing this month, honest

I saw a copy of Issue 1 in decent condition (no coverdisc though) for sale at £5 at Memorabilia last year.

Although I wanted it, I couldn't be bothered to carry around with me for the rest of the evening so decided not to.

Did I make a mistake?!

I sold one of my collections with about 6 missing issued for £395 to a guy in Germany. Easy money! The guy that won this was bidding as well. Mug.

The guy who forked out for the collection is a regular poster at the Total PC Gaming forums. But boy is £500 steep.
