Every now and then I'll go back and complete sonic 1 on the megadrive, but I go back and restart marioworld LOTS more then sonic

To be honest they are both great games, each with its own strengths

My vote goes to Sonic!

I like both characters, but Mario is a little too much on the cute side for me so I play Sonic more.

Sonic games have been really..... bad of late. Mario gets my vote for consistently good platformers. My dream of a 2D Mario & Sonic team up platformer will never see the light of day I suppose.
