Dreamcast Must Haves...

Post by Oh not again! » Sat Aug 23, 2008 9:04 am

[Note: I know RG did a feature on the DC, but my copy hasn't turned up yet]

After being reminded about how great the Dreamcast is, I dug mine out and have been having a play this morning. I only have a few games because about nine months after getting the it I also bought a PS2 and the DC got relegated to the cupboard. Here's what I have:

Planet Ring (Whatever that is, never even bothered loading it up)
ChuChu Rocket
MSR
Toy Racer
Sonic Adventure
Rayman2
Ready2Rumble Boxing
Virtua Fighter 3
Crazy Taxi
Soul Calibur
Shenmue

I'm tempted to get Power Stone 1 & 2, but are there any other recommendations?

Also, apart from ebay, does anyone know of a good source for controllers, VM's and other peripheral whatsits?

Well, if you relegated your dreamcast for a PS2 I'd recommend need for speed underground, true crime streets of LA and any one of the fifa's - a hundred hours on each should be punishment enough :)

Nope - A kettle cord is far to big for the DC, what you need is a Figure 8 "barrel lead" for a DC ;)

I once had a kettle powered by one of those. I bought it in Hong Kong around 1987; only ever plugged it in the once and it went boom!
