Alien Vs Predator - For me the best beat em up of all time (yes even better than Final Fight even though it pains me to say it). Huge detailed sprites, 4 characters to choose from, a fantastic pace, loads of moves, and really over the top boss fights. Criminal that this never got a conversion as its so amazing - in short MAME it now!!

GTI club - A really fun game, like italian job in racing form.

R-Type Leo - it seems insane that this didn't get a home release as the series has always sold well, it may not be a conventional R-Type game but it's still a great shooter in it's own right. Really beautiful levels and a challenging blast

R-Type Leo - DEFO :)

Also the sort of sequel to sunset riders - mystic warriors. Which incidently is amazing.

I guess the most suprising one for me has to be Aliens vs Predator - a successful arcade game , and absolutely no reason for it not being converted to home machines. Ah well , we've always got MAME...

Kick and Run (Mexico 86 at the fair), my favourite arcade footy game of all time, never got a UK conversion, maybe a PC Engine or Japanese version was made for something.

Quartet, though the SMS had a very cut down version of it that paled in comparison.

Fighting Soccer?

Hmm, thats a tough one as there are games that bare the same name as the arcade parent that seemed totaly different games when ported, Enduro Racer on SMS for instance.

Crime Fighters.

Pang 3
Punchmania: Fist of the North Star
Red Earth
Virtua Striker 4: ver.2006
Although Mighty Pang! has not been converted, Pang! 3 was released on the PSOne ages ago as part of the 'Pang Collection' compilation, and has more recently appeared on the PSP as part of the Capcom Puzzle World compilation.

One game that will NEVER get a home release, and can't even be emulated for obvious reasons is Namco's Prop Cycle.....shame, as I love that game.

Daytona 2 and Scud Race are the first games that come to mind. They are stunning games in the arcade, such a shame they never saw a home release.

I always wanted to play Wild Riders as it looked so fun, not yet found an arcade with it in.

LOL Prop Cycle was superb in the arcade but it wouldn't have worked on the home consoles as it's bicycle peddles really made that game, but fun it was. :)

Man, I remember wanting home releases of both of those so much when they were announced. I know Planet Harriers was rumoured for a Gamecube release but that sadly never happened.

Carrier Air Wing from Capcom the spiritual sequel to U.N. Squadron. I really would have liked an enhanced version of this solid shooter released on the Snes.

outzone and golden axe - revenge of death adder.

outzone should of been on MD considering all the other toaplan stuff on it.

never seen a planet harriers coin op, always wondered what it was like.

was gti club (i think thats what it was called - konami) ever released on a home format? that would of been good on the ps1 or DC.
