Street Figher's Dee Jay Maximum question...

Hiya all. I just wanted to know something. Dee Jay Maximum from the Street Fighter games, was he in any other fighting games apart from Street Fighter games? I seem to remember seeing a small preview in a magazine of a fighting game he was set to be in about ten years ago.

Pretty sure he only appeared in the Super/Hyper SF2 games and SFZ3 Upper/SFZ3 Home ports.

Yeah, he was in SFZ3 (or SFA3 as it's known to us UK folk), but in a PC mag I had years back (which I don't have anymore) there was a small peice on a game that was in development and which had him in it. I can't for the life of me remember the games name though.

Your right, Dee Jay never appeared in any other games bar the ones you've listed. He's never appeared in any of Capcoms crossover games or anything. Chances are it was just a character that looked a lot like him (he did have a pretty generic character design afer all)

Nope, it was definitely him. The character I remember seeing the picture of had the "MAXIMUM" design on his trousers, and was a black man.

Best thing to do is to look up cancelled Capcom games, I'll have a little scan around in a minute, wasn't a recent Final Fight or something like that was it?

Nah, it was a 1 on 1 2d beat em up. I'll check out Capcom and see what they have to say. It's not really that important. I was just curious about it, that's all.
