Games on home systems that should have had arcade versions
There's alwasy been plenty of debate about which home systems had the best conversion of an arcade game, but I wondered what you lot thought were great games on home systems that would have been well-suited to the arcade? There are a few examples of this actually happening (e.g. Pitfall II and Choplifter) but I think that games developed specifically for home systems usually stayed there, which was a real shame in some cases.
My starters for ten are...
Chuckie Egg - easy to get into, difficult to master
Manic Miner - addictive but difficult - would have had you pumping the 10p pieces in!
Park Patrol - another simple concept that was very addictive
Stryker's Run - would have been quite unique in the arcades at the time, with the ability to commandeer flying craft
Any more suggestions?

Are there actually many reports of this happening? The only one I can think of right now is Counter Strike, which was converted to coin-op in the form of Counter Strike: Neo:

The fact that you could lose your head pretty much straight away, would have kept the 10ps pouring in, especially in two player games.

There is also a new arcade game based on Half-Life 2 called Half-Life 2 Survivor. Here is the official site.

An arcade version of Skidmarks from the Amiga would have been cool!
