A600 Workbench 2.0

Post by RetroRik » Wed Jul 23, 2008 2:38 pm

I've just taken delivery of a mint, boxed Amiga 600 which i won on Ebay last week.

However it is missing the Workbench 2.0 floppy disk..

Any ideas where the best place to source one would be...

WoodCool...Your the Amiga man :) Can you help.?

Cheers

what do you need it for? - a lot of games have a workbench interface on already that you can use if that's the issue.

Do you only need the adf file, or the disc itself (hardware)?

Its been a long time since i owned an Amiga 500 ( 1992 i think ) so could not remember what i used to do..

If games boot on their own then that is good news.

I dont actually have any of the disks that would have come with the Amiga..( no Workbench 2.0 disk or Utility disks, Paint III )

Just answer me one question ....... which do you prefer

Kick Off
or
Sensible Soccer?

This will help me distinguish what kind of football player you are

Another thing: in your location it says Corby. Is that Corby in Northamptonshire? If so, you could always drop the postage for disks and pop round one evening or weekend!

Ooooh! Sensi is FAR better in my opinion, but Kick Off isn't bad.

Anyway, are you a Northamptonshire person (Corby in Northants) or is that Corby in somewhere else?

If you want, you could always pop round! Northampton must be only about 30-45 mins away! It'd save on the postage, and you could have a look at what other Amiga stuff (and other platforms stuff) I have, possibly going home with more than just Amiga Workbench disks (see most recent PM)

We would also be glad if you can help out on the main site, as some sections are constantly updated. My section is the games and news section, and currently most games are present, but a lot of them still need screenshots. If you want we can talk about that in the forum.

The forums are fully working with lots of features and also lots of great members, just remember, if you wanna join, you have also to register at the forum. I hope I will see you there.
