My Switch Lite is dusty too...well, it would be if it weren't in a case!

Got it at Christmas, hammered Mario Kart for most of January, and was very impressed with the system.

However, I just find myself sticking with my PS4 and the ridiculous amount of games for that which I still haven't picked up.

I don't think I've even accessed the e-shop a single time since owning the Switch! Lots of great stuff on there that I want to play but it's just time, and I don't have as much to spend on gaming as I used to.
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

Opposite for me really, the PS4 gets the dust, my XBONE and Switch get the most use.

New Snap's been pretty decent.

I've probably forgotten something, but I consider these the essential games I've played on the Switch after a year with it, with cheap indie games beating many of the AAA titles:

1. Breath of the Wild (40 hours in and still a regular sense of wonder)
2. Full Metal Furies (superb 16-bit action RPG in the vein of Castle Crashers (but even better) with more than a bit of the best Contra games about it. Also has a heavy puzzle element if you want to get into that, which almost makes it like two games in one. Brilliant in multiplayer (up to 4) and single player. I was sad to read this got review bombed)
3. Hidden in Plain Sight (the most pick-up-and-play fun we've had on a multiplayer game since Bomberman)
4. Death Squared (unique puzzler with great local co-op)
5. Gorogoa (unique, relaxing and sometimes frustrating)
6. Mario Odyssey (it'd be much higher if every level was as fun as the Metro Kingdom, where it almost felt like Mario meets GTA)
7. Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (I love the different settings and unexpected moments of fun (like the paragliding) amongst the more serious aspect of the story. Almost like playing a fairytale)
8. Downwell (vertical shooter... I love the 8-bit graphics and turning my TV vertically to play, and I wish I could beat my flukey 11-combo)

Looking forward to playing once I've finished BotW...
CrossCode

I most recently bought the Subnautica double pack.

Mario Golf got a new overview trailer. Looks like loads of fun. There's even an RPG Single player mode of sorts.

Hades - only console version is on the Switch. Have it on the PC but an essential for Switch owners otherwise.

I'll admit to having it on both.

You get cross-saves with PC which is nice - although there are people who can speed run it from a cold start most of us mere mortals are going to need a fair few upgrades to go the distance - and the collectors edition comes with a booklet and soundtrack.

I got to imagine it's bigger in size like the Detective Pikachu amiibo, I doubt they'd up the price just for a QOL feature. That one was about £20.

Also the Super Bomberman free to play Battle Royale is coming next week along with a bunch of new SNES and a NES game.

Has anyone had the latest system update? I can't download anything! Nintendo have dropped the ball here.

I haven't even used mine as its giving me constant problems. Any left Joycon dont "Click" (still charges) and every time I want to play it on the TV (IE whenever im using it) I have to muck about with various display settings

Both my Switches are fine, but it sounds like I dodged a bullet there.

It could be an interesting one to fix, seeing as it appears to knock out the internet connectivity of affected machines. That'd preclude fixing it with another over-the-air update so they might have to do a recall.
