ATARI Star Wars Return Of The Jedi Arcade Cabinet

Post by fugeesnfunions » Mon Aug 31, 2020 1:35 pm

My parents bought an ATARI Star Wars Return Of The Jedi cabinet back in the early 90's, and it's just been sitting in a closet, with no one using it. They're open to selling it, but they, and I, have no idea where to start to get a fair price. It works and includes all the original documentation. The docs are absolutely mint as they were stored inside the locked coin cabinet, and the cabinet works fine, but the steering wheel thing can be a little wonky sometimes. I imagine it just needs to be tightened up. How do we sell this thing??

EDIT: I just want to add, it's been stored in an air-conditioned, non-smoker home since the day it was purchased So it's in as good condition as one of these cabinets could possibly be. Any idea on potential value would be greatly appreciated, and if someone thinks they could be some kind of "real estate agent" for its sale, I wouldn't mind paying a % of its final sale value.

Put it on eBay for 99p starting price. It’ll get tons of bidders and go for a decent price. Don’t get too greedy and start it with a huge high price or buy it now bid

You may want to ask on http://www.ukvac.com/

You're more likely to get specialist advice on exactly what it is you have, potential value, and possible routes to sale there. Being a well known cab, someone will know all the ins and outs of it there.

Yeah, I thought about eBay. The only problem is I live in a small town so there won't be much local activity and shipping this thing would cost an obscene amount.

Awesome! Thanks for the tip, I never would have found them on my own. I'll give it a shot.

Certainly pop it on UKVac, cab prices have gone crazy high of recent, I am sure you will have plenty of people wanting to tear your arm of for it. Are you in the UK? most of us use a specific delivery man to pickup and transport cabs, its not as expensive as you might think.
