Now THAT's an idea I'll get behind. A proper "dividing" game, even amongst Sonic fans.
My comics blog (mostly lesser-known UK stuff from the 80s and 90s)

Speaking of Team 17, I'd suggest Superfrog.

True
The question is, Is it the last great sonic game? or even a great 'sonic' game at all?

Donkey Kong Country - SNES or GBA your post over at NTSC-UK about the GBA version interested me enough to pick it up. I never realised it had any extras, I thought it was a straight port, I'm really enjoying this at the minute.

Im itching to play through flasback (md) again. So I would love to see that get the go ahead.

Mega lo mania is also a classic.

Another more obscure choice imo is buck rogers "count down to doomsday" on the md. It's a cracking game and well worth anyones time.

I also noticed that someone on here mentioned ninja spirit (on the PCE i presume) which is truly superb.

Or what about moto roader?

Or even better, Final Match Tennis!

Cool, I can be featured in the 'its not for me' section saying this is the worst and most boring piece of sh*t I have ever had the misfortune to play.

Though the game last time wasn't for me, trying to link it in with an "ultimate" type article would be great. Though obviously the page count dedicated to one game/series may get too much and seems to have got mixed response.

I'm open to almost anything ultimately, though have to admit can't be too bothered with Axelay

Megalomania and Buck Rogers BOTH superb, Ninja Spirt was mentioned by myself-Loved the C64 version, but you`ve also got the ST/Amiga, Pc Engine versions etc.
