It was very quirky but I was hooked once I faced the first boss.

The music is catchy, but not as catchy as Bubble Bobble's. The gameplay is easy to pick up, but not as easy Bubble Bobble's. The characters are cute, but not as cute as Bubble Bobble's. The game does seem like a nice little arcade game, if not a little frustrating. However, as it's a sequel to Bubble Bobble but doesn't do anything as well as its predecessor, in my eyes it is relegated to the 'lacklustre sequel' category.

Never played it until I saw the notice in the mag for the next Let's All Play...

It's a blast. I'm finding it quite hard. Maybe I need the instructions.

I heard Rainbow Islands before I played it, it's catchy rendition of Somewhere Over The Rainbow simply cried out to be played.
