It actually needs more Beach Head love so we don't have to play Streets 2.

From the voting list the only one that I have any interest in is Beach Head, but that is probably because it is the one I played most.

There was a game that I got drawn into for hours; Encounter by Novagen on C64. Now if that were on the list I'd vote for it twice :o)

Well since Streets Of Rage II is my favourite MD game.....

....I'm going for Rainbow Islands :). No point voting for a game I've already played to death no matter how much I love it :)

I would like to see Maria's Xmas Box C64 on next months list.

To get the true experience you would have to play it as you did when you were a child - you need to get a usb joystick (if emulating) and some tissues (or a sock) - Im sure the photos would be interesting

Anwyay, Rainbow Islands or Beach Head would be great.....

Some decent games there but I have gone for Rainbow Islands, despite really wanting River Raid (which is never gonna win, hence me choosing RI ;) )

like a lot of others i bloody love SOR2 but i could probably play it in my sleep, over the last 8 years I've probably completed it an average of twice a month

I went for River raid cos my mate at work used to play speed river raid years back and always said what a blast it was. I played a bit with him when i bought some 2600 bits at the end of last year, but this would make me dig it out again and hopefully get some little competitions going at lunchtimes

Was still tempted to choose GODS or Rainbow Islands too though as they are also games that I would like to play a lot more and need something to help persuade me play them

These polls need to have an end date. Or is Daz just waiting for his fave to be in the lead ;)

Forget the poll results, we all need to play Moonwalker for next month. I'm about to start this evening.

True and looking at some youtube vids, it actually looks like a decent game. Only problem would be that those who don't already own it wouldn't be able to easily grab a copy seeing as how ebay sellers are taking the p*ss at the moment with ridiculous prices.
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

We talking about the arcade game? I think the home versions were very different?

Moonwalker, definitely. It would be nice and topical, and it gives me an excuse to do a ridiculous MJ pose with my Master System copy. Plus, it's a bloody good game.

I guess it'll have to be emulation again for me then....don't fancy my chances of getting a cheap copy of that anytime soon :(
