Some great optinons on the poll, but ive plucked for California Games because its one of those games that really comes from an "era" if you know what I mean. From a time when everyone was refered to as "dude" and high fives were the handshakes of the day.
Me and some friends from primary school would always play this, trying to best each others top scores. Plus we all had different ports, so it was always interesting to see and play it on another machine.

I voted for Beachhead...a classic that deserves a revisit

Heres one for you - its $hitTwoHeadedBoy wrote:I went for Metal Slug 3. One of the best games ever made, and it'll be nice to have some counter-arguments to Stuart's harsh review of the game in the magazine.

Re: Choices for issue 67
I voted Beachhead.
Reason: well I played it when it came out, but maybe only twice, and so never really thought much of it, so I want to really give it a chance this time around to see if it's as good as a lot of people tell me it is.

Of that selection, I'd say Pilot Wings is the most interesting being somewhat different from most other games. Its closely followed by Beach Head and Gods.

Not for a while. There's not enough people playing Jack the Nipper yet, so we're pushing this back a month until we get a bit more feedback.
Re: Choices for issue 67
Me too. Well, I have Metal Slug 3 on a compilation somewhere (PS2 I think) but that won't win the vote. I don't really dabble in 8-bits or computers so...TyronW wrote:Streets of Rage II is the only one I have
