We're joined by our guests from Neozazs Star Wars in Character podcast for the first part of our epic Star Wars Video Game Trilogy.
Over the next three episodes we embark on the largest review of Star Wars video games ever undertaken. This means we dont just discuss the greatest games based on the films but we also delve into the garbage compactor to rip into the rotten ones too.
Episode one takes us from the release of the first Star Wars game, The Empire Strikes Back on Ataris 2600 console through to Namcos Star Wars game released on the Nintendo Famicom. Of course, as well as lots of game chat we all share our experiences of playing the games and being huge Star Wars fans as we grew up on different sides of the Atlantic.
This epic trilogy also comes with a huge 266 page companion book which goes into even further detail about the games, stories and images from the greatest movie licence in the galaxy. You can download the book for free here

The Bitmap Brothers were UK gaming’s first Rockstars. They appeared in our computer magazines looking more suited to the cover of NME rather than the bedroom coders we’d become accustomed to.
Their video games had a look and style all of their own that when combined with their cutting edge dance music collaborations and savvy marketing created not only a loyal following among gamers but also influenced future generations of game makers.
In this episode we focus on their 16-bit era and the games which dominated not only our gaming memories but also the charts and award ceremonies of the time.
We couldn’t let such legendary game makers go by without marking the occasion as best we could. So, the Drisk has been at it again created another huge 222 page companion book which goes into even deeper detail about the games, stories and images around the Bitmap Brothers’ canon.

After lengthy discussion, lawyers and C15 cassettes changing hands the second installment of 8 Bit Wars is finally upon us. Join Paul Davies as he looks to wrangle Dean Swain, Steve Erickson and Chris ORegan into agreeing whether the Commodore 64, Amstrad or ZX Spectrum came out top from a specially-selected list of 10 classic retro games. Expect plenty of heated discussion and laughter along the way as we decide which 8 Bit system comes out on top this time round.
