Proud to announce that the first episode of the RVG podcast is now available. Retrotext and me spent some time muttering into our mics about why we started the podcast and talk through some of our gaming history. We have a varied background from consoles to computers so there's bound to be something of interest for you all to enjoy. If you've seen my Youtube video's I'm sure you know what to expect
Hope to build this on a regular basis and will be asking people to get involved so welcome any suggestions or discussion topics. The plan is to start with 5 episodes and see what the response is but really we need you guys to help us make this something special

Downloading now - would be good to have a decent UK based retro podcast to listen to.
FYI - the RSS feed link in the first post is for more than just iTunes, the label is potentially misleading.

Retro Asylum has undergone significant change in recent weeks, with new hosts and a new format. You might want to revisit that one too.

Cool, will check it out. Is there an RSS feed? All I can see is iTunes?
Edit: scratch that, the iTunes link is just an RSS feed - again, misleading.

Thanks RetroBob, I think the term RSS feed would suit better, I agree.
this episode covers lots of things in a short time but it will take more of a form in subsequent episodes.
I do hope you enjoy it.

Yikes, it wasn't meant as a slight against Retro Asylum at all, in fact I wasn't aware of RA until this thread and am listening to the SEGA podcast right now and love it (and tweeted to RA earlier saying as much), so I have added two podcasts today!

we now have our second ever podcast uploaded!

A new mini cast or ByteCast as we are calling it

has gone up. The point of these is a short 10 minute podcast with either of us talking about something retro related. The first is with Me spending sometime on my cabinet with Astroblaster loaded into it.
We are aiming to have a couple of these between the big eps and Episode 2 should be winging its way to your feeds in just a couple of weeks.

Sounds interesting, I will give these a download when I'm next on the laptop and put them on the memory stick for drives into work, between this, the RA podcast and the odd MMA Hour, I never have to listen to the bad drive home shows ever again
