Post by Blumf » Tue Nov 07, 2006 5:34 am

Available on http://www.youtube.com are 30+ clips from an American 80's video series entitled 'How to beat Home Video Games'.

Showing classic games (Pitfall, Zaxxon, Pacman, Defender, Asteroids, etc) from retro consoles such as the Atari 2600, 5200 and the Colecovision.

For those who can't be bothered to use the keyboard here's a handy link.

This guy, Louis Chou has ALOT of videos from Alone in the Dark to Resident Evil to Tomb Radier to Final Fantasy to Zelda etc. They're all done through to completion with everything completed. Some interesting viewing.
See his playlist for all the games

So many videos to choose from!!

Personally I really like charcter story movies.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PItf_Jv1Bk

This is one of my faves, although the first 3 mins are quite boring

Don't get emotional when you see the baby kangaroo :D

The music is also amazing, even though it doesn't quite suit the subject matter.

I wish this was the opening movie on the PS2 version, as opposed to the one we got.

Just a shame several characters are missing

It took a while but I managed to get this great video up ontot youtube in its entirety: Thongboy presents: 3S Basics - What You Should Know

It's great, a nice homage to Shenmue as well ^_^

Here's his other video, done in the style of Streets of Rage!

Thong of Rage: A Twelve Tutorial

Hopefully he'll release part 2 as well as his other projects soon.

Hilarious 'review' of Lemming on the Sega Genesis. I guess we can remove this game from our personal top 100 list now.
