Not to mention that AES games have extras over the MVS version like extra game modes, console exclusive characters and such. Though with a Uni bios you can set the MVS games to console mode so thats not much of an issue anymore. Its just personal preference really, I prefer my AES system but thats just me!
Ok Shadow, sorry... perhaps I came across a bit harsher than I meant to.

Just frustrated that AES seems to get 99% of the love in RG.
It's like "my" way of playing/collecting Neo... just doesn't exist.

In my case, I'm not into 'boxes' for games.
But I will make & install a nice "minimarquee" in my cabinet.

I know what you mean, it would be nice for the MVS to get more coverage in the mag since it is a much more affordable way of owning the Neo whilst having arcade perfect versions of the games (mainly because they are the arcade versions!)

To stay on topic, Garou Mark of the Wolves would have to be my other favorite Neo Geo game. Amazing graphics and animation which still stand up extremely well today which is also easy pick up and play but at the same time is complicated enough to keep fighting enthusiasts playing for years to come

SNK vs Capcom Chaos. The ONLY Neo geo MVS game I purchased brand new. Cost me nearly $400, but it's OH SO GOOD :)

Windjammers. It's the ultimate Pong clone.

It's a predictable answer but I'm going to go with Metal Slug. It's got to be the best run and gun ever made.

The Legend Of Success Joe.

I never had a Neo Geo but it always cheered me up to know that at least there wasn't anything quite as bad as that on any of the games consoles I did have. ;)

Serious answer though, has to be Metal Slug FTW!

My favourite is Super Magnetic Neo for the Dreamcast. (I don't know any Geo games though).

Waku Waku 7 is a brilliant game - I love the character's anime style!

Garou: Mark of the Wolves, I'm rubbish at beat-em-ups but this is one of the most beautiful games ever. The animation when the flock of birds remove Hotaru Futaba's cloak is simply amazing. :)

That's incredible value. (especially in comparison to the AES path)
The problem with taking the MVS route is that not everyone has the space for an arcade machine in their house - the AES takes up a hell of a lot less room! ;)

Of course you could hook up an MVS board to a supergun but I suspect you're looking at quite a bit of cash for that setup too...

My AES, 2 controllers and collection of 11 games (so far) cost me around £285... OK there's no Metal Slug or Garou MOTW in there but it is possible to get a decent selection of games that don't cost the earth...
