Favourite soundtrack (in a shoot-em-up)
A good shooter thrives on a solid track, but what particular tunes get your blood pumping?
Bio-Hazard Battle soundtrack on the Megadrive is one of my favourite shoot em'up soundtracks. Rez on the Dreamcast / Playstation 2 is another all time favourite shoot em'up soundtrack of mine.

Delta, by Rob Hubbard. I never could stand the game, but his Pink Floyd-inspired soundtrack is fantastic.

Its hard because there's so much to choose from but I'm going to go out on a limb and opt for......Sky Kid!.
Its nothing special and doesn't get the adrenaline pumping, it just typifies Retro gaming for me and has a light hearted, bouncy decidedly arcadey vibe that just screams 80's gaming at you.

Ooh, big question... Katakis, Enforcer, Delta, Hades Nebula from the C64 (and if i actually thought about that question it'd be a longer list =-) Wings Of Death from the ST and Amiga, Battle Squadron and Uridium 2 on the Amiga as well, pretty much the entire Gradius series, Thundercross and Thundercross 2 from the arcades, R-Type Delta or Ikaruga from more recent hardware...
