Yie Ar Kung Fu (C64) One of the best beat em ups around with some seriously over the top moves and characters. Pole was a right pain in the arse to beat though.

Parodious on the Super Famicom, I got it years ago when I had a Super Famicom and was amazed at how funny it was. Was one of the most played games in my collection, and later on I managed to pick it up for the Saturn.

This is a very tricky question...! Though if I have to pick one right at the top of its game, then it will be Super Castlevania IV for the SFC. Beautiful to look at, even better to listen to, a very good difficulty curve and removed everything annoying and frustrating about the original NES game. The Grim Reaper is actually beatable!
