To tie in with issue 50 we'd like to know what your best gaming moment is. It can be absolutely anything as long as it's game related.

The best will end up in the magazine.

Finally getting broadband so that first person shooters became games rather than a flipchart.

Waking up and discovering that now the Spectrum had dried out, it still worked despite the alarming POP! last night. Computers and alcohol don't mix, kids.

Going round my mates house circa 1994 and seeing him using a Spectrum emulator on his PC - it got me back into gaming after a few years away.

Completing Ghostbusters on the C64 for the first time - a fantastic film tie-in and a good ending.

Finally unwrapping Street Fighter II for the SNES on Christmas Day 1992. No need for the arcade anymore! Incidentally, I still went to the arcade.

Winning the 3d Deathchase week in the retroleague was definately up there. Being a crap gamer it is great to find that one game that really clicks for you.

But the other must be getting a great mention for our little Weekend Gamer project in October 07's Retro Gamer

Getting a job in an indie computer shop during the late 1980s and in particular on the games side of things and thus being able to borrow consoles, machines and software overnight! =-)

Getting the Sega Master System back in summer 1989. One of my brother got it as a present from the school teacher for gaining 100% full attendance.

Appeared to be another favourite gaming moment was playing Street Fighter II (or SNES) for the first time in 1992.

Best gaming moment was appearing in Crash and meeting a lot of the staff. The fashion police probably would arrest me for past crimes though looking back at it.

Linking up two sets of Amiga A500's for a head-to-head tournament with 10 mates on Stunt Car Racer. I didn't win but that early networked play was awesome.

That must have been very cool back then, 2 player games were great but 10 people playing SC Racer sounded sooo good !

Finally having the money after months of hard work and saving up to finally afford a Sega Saturn, complete with Sega Rally and some change left over for an issue of Sega Saturn Magazine with a free cover CD with playable and rolling demos. Sadly, I purchased the excellent system at the time when all gaming companies were abandoning it. But I didn't care, it was the best 32-bit console I had ever purchased and I still have it and play it just as much now as what I did back then.
