Apart from the original arcade game, which was rather spiffy. And the Lynx conversion, come to think about it.

I know it's probably too recent (2000) to be considered retro by most, but what about John Romero's crowning glory, Daikatana?
It's called a MEGADRIVE

Don't even think of Bombjack 64.

Seeing as how Retro Shamer seems to be working it's way through the games collection I had as a kid, might I suggest either Dangerous Streets or Microcosm for the CD32? I seriously had no taste as a child!

I definitely agree with you on Dangerous Streets on the CD32 - this was hyped so much at the time, and I saved lots of pocket money and bought a CD32 which came distributed with Rise Of The Robots, Wing Commander and Dangerous Streets - I was so disappointed, I felt so ripped off. I was tempted to take it back and get a refund, but I bought a CD32 Gamer magazine. I'm glad I did, as the demos on that magazine cover CD were better than the distributed games by far.

I haven't read through the whole thread, but has anyone suggested James Bond JNR on the SNES? It was a truly abysmal platform game from THQ! I'd love a Retro Shamer based on this title.

Dangerous Streets gets my vote, too.
If memory serves me correctly, I'm sure I recall Rev. Stu's review saying that "this game could single handedly kill off the CD32".
It was a terrible, terrible game. One of the special moves saw your character transform into a ruddy box, and it was so badly programmed, that when the onscreen action slowed down, the music did too!!!
Failing that, I'd go for a double page spread of Cascade's 50 Games Cassette!

For my maiden post on this forum, Friday The 13th gets my vote straight away. I have played both C64 and ZX Spectrum versions, and their crapness is unparalleled. The sampled screams are so bad to the point they are funny.
