You've got Jarret the hero, busty blonde gloria, her dad Clive, her boyfriend (name can't remember), pigmies and dinosaurs, what more do you need? Get Peter Jackson to direct it in New Zealand and you're sorted ...
WTSS was a tribute to the lost island/dnosaur films of the 50s-70s , in particular The Land/People That Time Forgot - still worth watching now tbh

Dizzy would work pretty well as an animated/low CG movie, even if aimed at kids. The universe exists so they back story to the characters etc don't even need created.

I didn't put much thought into this, but Broken Sword just popped into my head...

And of course, if done properly, Metal Gear has the potential to make a great series of films.

If I had the choice, I would rather use it to completely remove all traces of Wing Commander:The Movie from existence.

Funnily enough, they were planning a Dragon's Lair movie back in the day... hey, if Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy can make it out of Development Hell eventually, maybe that can too?
