Vanguard! Probably the very, very first home console game I was ever obsessive about (shades of things to come)... Maybe the first great shooter on a home console, I played that game to death!! (um, literally, as I broke a controller on it!)

Chicken? I assume you mean Freeway 8)

As for my favourite 2600 game... probably has to be Adventure. Ducks, dots, danger, what more could you ask for?

Ghostbusters. I remember being about 6 or 7 years old and thinking it was the most amazing thing I had ever seen.

Or a double header cartridge I had. One of the games was set in a Haunted Mansion and you had to shoot a crossbow at ghosts and stuff.

E.T. - In The Desert. You have to go to New Mexico and find a copy of one of the buried cartridges. Guaranteed your best adventure ever.

Probably the Xonox double-header Ghost Manor and Spike's Peak.

Aint played a lot of them, but I remember being suitably impressed about Centipede on my friends 2600 back in the 80s. River Raid wasn't bad either.
Good thing I didn't know how minimalistic the hw _really_ was.

It doesn't have to be funny any more, it's tradition!

bestest 2600

Combat. On the "Invisible Tanks with guided missiles" setting. With Doug sitting next to me, giving 'brotherly love' a bad name as the air turned blue. Unbeatable.

Why was "Wii Play" tanks not "Combat" eh? EH? Such a missed opportunity.

 probably. Never been a big fan of the 2600 to be honest. You probably had to be there.
