Slightly different this month in so much that it's not game related.

Basically what are you planning to do Christmas Day?

Steal children's pocket money to buy a PS3. They are loaded this time of the year.

As I'm not expecting to get a PS3, I'll be just eating loads of choccies and watching whatever repeats are on telly.

Eating loads.

Trying to play on the Neo Geo AES I am getting along with Mario, Metroid and PGR4.

The big stumbling block is having my brother's and my own kids tearing about like tasmanian devils all day (very hard work believe me).

If it the same as last year, I will probably get chance to play at about 2100hrs, by which time I will be to knackered to play anyway. Still, wouldnt change it for the world.

Probably check out the RG forum to see what retro delights fellow forumites got from Santa - and seethe with jealousy :|

I will be hoping against all hope that Santa brings me the Vectrex I've wanted since I first played one... Then drowning my sorrows with copious amounts of alcohol when I'm disappointed, as usual. It's a Christmas Tradition!

If it follows the usual pattern it will be:

- wake up last in the family and hence keep everyone waiting until I'm ready so we can open the presents.

- create a tsunami of wrapping paper across the living room floor.

- enjoy some gaming while letting the parents cook the turkey dinner.

- eat dinner, drink alcohol, get stuffed by the end.

- consume more alcohol.

- partake in the traditional yearly parents versus offspring Trivial Pursuit contest (which we nearly always win).

- watch the Xmas Day movie if by some chance we haven't seen it before.

- consume even more alcohol and eat chocolates.

- try to encourage the parents to play something on the Wii again.

- more alcohol.

- fall asleep in the small hours of the morning.
Lie with passion and be forever damned...

Attempting to play Wii Sports after eating half a turkey and downing more alcohol than I'll be able to remember on boxing day (you never know, my fitness age might actually go down!)

I'm planning to go on a festive vigil for space aliens. I will carry my Sony Watchman up a hill, tie it to the long hairs from my belly, train it on the skies as my binoculars stretch my eyes... after that I'll probably spend most of the afternoon finding out if I can fit underneath the sofa.

I will be at my parent's house 150 miles from here, enjoying the fact that both Mrs Carlos and me have got the same few days off work and we get to spend some decent time with my folks, grandfolks and sister / bruv-in-law.

Sad as it sounds though, I will be missing my cats 'cos they can't really come with us :(

It better be "playing on my new Wii" so long as the Mrs gets the very unsubtle hints.

By me a bloody Wii you cow!!!

Is this a genuine "From The Forum" question Darran, or are you just looking for an invite to Christmas dinner? :?

The same thing that I do every day. PLAN TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!
